Vizio kitchen tv
Great little tv for the kitchen, just what I wanted and takes so little space on the counter.
Horrible Experience
I normally don't write reviews but this product was so troublesome that I had to. First of all, when you get the TV, assembling the stand is a cumbersome process. You have to use a lot more force than you think to slide the base into the TV and I thought the plastic would snap off a few times. Taking the stand off is just as difficult.
The real problem, however, was the picture. 3 hours after I set up the TV, I heard a popping sound and the TV screen went blank. I could still hear audio so I thought maybe if I turned it off for a while it would work again. The next morning I turned it on and it was fine for about half an hour before the screen turned black again. If I looked really closely at the screen I could still see some motion, which meant that the picture was there but the backlight went out. After googling the problem, I found that a lot of Vizios have a problem with the power supply to the backlight, which causes this black screen of death.
Their customer service was nice but didn't really seem to know much about this problem that seems to affect a lot of other users. I was lucky; this happened early so I could still return it for a refund. Others had it happen right after the warranty period ended for them. Incidentally, Costco used to carry this model, but more recently seems to have pulled it from the shelves. Save yourself the trouble and spend a little more for a more solid TV.

THE TRUTH IS A GREAT PRODUCT THAT MEETS SPECIFIED CHARACTERISTICS WITH ALL, there is nothing wrong, great product at an economical price
Great for the money
I like this TV. It has a great picture once you get inside the settings and fine tune the color. The default settings are horrible. The only thing I did not like about it was the sound but if you feed it into a stereo that problem goes away.
